Paper Playtime Ch #4 Sentiment Stamps

IMG_2072

Hello,  It has been a few days since I have posted any new cards.  I have been spending some time with the family.  Today's card is for the Paper Playtime Ch # 4 sentiment stamps.  I made this card from my scrap bend of cardstock.  I thought this would be a good way to use what I had.  Sorry so I really don't remember where the papers are from.  What I did was to cut strips of paper at different sizes and cut the ends in different cuts.  I used a felt flower from pebbles and a couple of buttons from my stash.  The sentiment was a stamp and die cut from MFT Die-namics Framed Greetings.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I used Tim Holtz  tea dye distress ink to ink the edges of the sentiment.  Hope you all enjoy.  Thanks and Hugs xxx

Brooke’s Heart

Local Library  Heart Decorating Challenge

IMG_2032

Hello again. Hope your weekend has gotten off to a good start. Today's project is a decorative heart that my granddaughter Brooke did for our local library contest.  Nana turned her loose in her craft room and this is what she came up with.  The library handed out red construction paper hearts for the kids to decorate.  This heart was about a 8 1/4” tall by 10 1/2”  wide.  Brooke used American Crafts premium ribbon in the red rose and the pink peony.  She alternated the ribbons to give the heart red and pink strips.  Brooke asked me to cut out the heart banner and the love title from the circut cartridge Love Struck 2010.  The heart banner was cut on colorbok white cardstock at 5”.  The Love title was cut on black colorbok cardstock at 1 1/2”.  To add a little more bling  Brooke use Studio G red and clear gems that was gotten at our local Wal-Mart.  To finish the project off Brooke asked me to spray it with some Perfect Pearls Mists from Ranger.   I really enjoyed spending this time with my grand-daughter doing something we both love to do.  Brooke was very happy and proud to be her Nana’s first guest designer. Hope you enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by please leave a comment and let us know what you think.

Sweet Heart Bingo

IMG_2030

Hello again.  Another valentines card for you to enjoy.  All the card stock

used on this card is Georgia-Pacific and the Paper Studio.  The card base

is white and cut at 11 x 4 1/4 folded at 5 1/2.  The pink mat is at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

to cover the whole card front.  The next mat is white and at 5 1/4 x 4.  This

mat I ran through the cuttlebug with the swiss dot folder.  I used a Studio G

ribbon on the embossed mat.  I used my ATG gun to adhere these two layers.

I stamped the bingo card with the Oct 31 st stamp from Cardz Tv Stamps on

a light pink card stock.  I taped out the stamp title before stamping and then

scanned it into my pc.  I used an edited program to add the cupid and then

printed that off.  I backed that with a brighter pink mat that measures 3 1/4 x

3 1/2.  I got the cupid of my clip art on my pc and printed it off on the brighter

pink cardstock at 2 1/2.  I fussy cut the cupid out and the used foam tape to add

dimension.  I used the Martha Stewart confetti hear punch for the bingo chips.

I added Frosted Lace Stickles to the hearts. The sentiment I printed of my pc

on font comic san ms at 24 points.  I trimmed it out at 1 3/4 x 3/4.

Hope you enjoy.  Would love to hear from one and all.  Please comment.

Thanks for visiting.
