Hello,  today post is for the CTV Stamps DT Challenge # 24.  I used cricut cartridge Elegant Edges to cut out all 3 of my card bases out of Recollections kraft cardstock.  I cut them at 3x6 and scored at 3 to get my 3x3 card.  The wild about you has a mat from the Paper Studio and the flying heart and all layers was cut from Create a Critter on Recollection cardstock at 1 1/5".   The sentiment if from CardzTV Stamps Critter Captions.   The bananas for you the mat is from a Studio G  DSP from a valentine kit from Wal-Mart.  The monkey and all layers was cut at 2" on Paper Studio shades of brown paper pack from Hobby Lobby.  The sentiment is from a Studio G stamp set.  The be mine mat is also from Studio G DSP valentine kit from Wal-mart.  The heart and the sentiment are from a Studio G stamp set.  The heart I stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Sharpie Ultra Fine markers.  The sentiment is from that same stamp set and I used Jenni Bowlin Cough Syrup ink. The other sentiments I used the Menento Tuxedo Black ink.  I also stamp the inside of each card with happy valentines day from the CardzTV Stamp set Happy Days.   I used pop dots on all the embellishment for the cards to give them dimension. I used my ATG to adhere all the layers together.  I tried to make this as simple as I could for mass producing.  Hope you all enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by and come again.  Hugs!

Hello again.  This week has started off with me having a card making marathon.  This is the first of four cards that I have made with more on my list to do.  I made this card for my granddaughter that just had surgery.  I am hoping this will cheer her up.  I started this card out with a hot pink base cut to a standard size A2 card on Georgia- Pacific cardstock from Wal-Mart.  The zebra strip mat is a Recollections Signature pink glitter paper cut to 4 x 5 1/4.  The deep eggplant purple circle was punch out of colorbok cardstock with a 1 3/4 circle punch from Stampin Up.  The oval sentiment mat was out of that same eggplant purple and white Georgia-Pacific cardstock.  I used the large oval and scallop oval punches from Stampin Up for the sentiment.  I use the circut Teddy Bear Parade Lite  cartridge and cut him out at 2 1/2" for all layers.  I used the black Colorbok cardstock for the base of the bear and the hot pink Georgia-Pacific cardstock for the next layer.  I use the light pink Recollection cardstock for the next layer  and I used a green glitter paper from the Christmas and Winter Matstack form DCWV for his dr scrubs.  I had so much fun making this card.  It was a fast and easy card to put together.  I know Brooke will enjoy this card.   Hope you all enjoy, please leave a comment and let me know how I’m doing.  Would love to hear from one and all.  Bye for now.  Hugs!

Brooke’s Heart

Local Library  Heart Decorating Challenge

IMG_2032

Hello again. Hope your weekend has gotten off to a good start. Today's project is a decorative heart that my granddaughter Brooke did for our local library contest.  Nana turned her loose in her craft room and this is what she came up with.  The library handed out red construction paper hearts for the kids to decorate.  This heart was about a 8 1/4” tall by 10 1/2”  wide.  Brooke used American Crafts premium ribbon in the red rose and the pink peony.  She alternated the ribbons to give the heart red and pink strips.  Brooke asked me to cut out the heart banner and the love title from the circut cartridge Love Struck 2010.  The heart banner was cut on colorbok white cardstock at 5”.  The Love title was cut on black colorbok cardstock at 1 1/2”.  To add a little more bling  Brooke use Studio G red and clear gems that was gotten at our local Wal-Mart.  To finish the project off Brooke asked me to spray it with some Perfect Pearls Mists from Ranger.   I really enjoyed spending this time with my grand-daughter doing something we both love to do.  Brooke was very happy and proud to be her Nana’s first guest designer. Hope you enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by please leave a comment and let us know what you think.

Sweet Heart Bingo

IMG_2030

Hello again.  Another valentines card for you to enjoy.  All the card stock

used on this card is Georgia-Pacific and the Paper Studio.  The card base

is white and cut at 11 x 4 1/4 folded at 5 1/2.  The pink mat is at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

to cover the whole card front.  The next mat is white and at 5 1/4 x 4.  This

mat I ran through the cuttlebug with the swiss dot folder.  I used a Studio G

ribbon on the embossed mat.  I used my ATG gun to adhere these two layers.

I stamped the bingo card with the Oct 31 st stamp from Cardz Tv Stamps on

a light pink card stock.  I taped out the stamp title before stamping and then

scanned it into my pc.  I used an edited program to add the cupid and then

printed that off.  I backed that with a brighter pink mat that measures 3 1/4 x

3 1/2.  I got the cupid of my clip art on my pc and printed it off on the brighter

pink cardstock at 2 1/2.  I fussy cut the cupid out and the used foam tape to add

dimension.  I used the Martha Stewart confetti hear punch for the bingo chips.

I added Frosted Lace Stickles to the hearts. The sentiment I printed of my pc

on font comic san ms at 24 points.  I trimmed it out at 1 3/4 x 3/4.

Hope you enjoy.  Would love to hear from one and all.  Please comment.
